Sunshine Coast ( Rakiraki ) Hotels, Resorts - View Specials
The Sunshine Coast has very few beaches, as its shoreline is mostly mangrove. It is a very picturesque part of Viti Levu, however, with jagged green mountains of the interior and some sugar cane plantations on the lower plains. The highlight of this area as far as beaches go is the offshore island of Nananu-i-Ra, a short boat trip off from Rakiraki. Great for beachcombing, sunbathing, and diving. Long a destination for backpacker and middle market vacationers.
