 | Korotogo - Very popular area for budget travellers for many years, with its quaint village, small shops and cafes, and a mix of tourists, local Fijians, and expatriate residents. The beach along this part of the Coral Coast consists of gravelly white coral with sandy sections. The former Reef Hotel has been recently redeveloped into the much larger Outrigger Reef Resort, with hotel rooms and bures overlooking the beach and fringing reef. Like most resorts along the Coral Coast, they regularly maintain the beach on their property. A long-time favourite family budget resort nearby is the Crow's Nest Resort - the accommodation is on terraces directly opposite the beach for wonderful ocean and sunset views.  | Coral Coast - Further south, the coastal highway sweeps around a horseshoe-shaped bay with an easily accessible beach. A break in the fringing reef at this point of the coast ensures plenty of wave action. If you are driving along this highway, stop off and watch the waves roll in! |
